Student of the Month

November 2019

Congratulations to this month's TransOptions & Visions Federal Credit Union Student of the Month: Mia Brady!

Mia Brady is an honor student at Sparta High School who loves to perform. Last summer she performed in High School Musical on theater row in New York City. This past December she performed in A Magical Broadway Christmas. She's part of NYC Tap Crew led by Tommie Retter (who starred in Billy Elliot on Broadway). She recently appeared in "Girls against Bullying" A Public Service Video that tries to stop "Mean Girl Behavior" by teaching young women to practice empathy. Mia loves to sing, dance and act. Her dream is to one day be a Rockette and from there go on to become a successful movie actress. She was awarded two $50.00 gift cards from Visions Federal Credit Union and Transoptions. Mia was presented with a certificate of recognition on the WSUS Morning Show earlier today. Congratulations Mia, it was great to meet you and your family.

Each month of the school year, TransOptions honors an exceptional student in Sussex County by awarding the "TransOptions Student of the Month Award." The award is given to students recognized for their scholastic achievements or community involvement and is presented live, on-air, during the "Morning Show with Steve Andrews", on WSUS 102.3.

Award recipients receive an Amazon.com gift card and a framed certificate of recognition. Their comments are recorded and replayed on-air throughout the month as a celebration of their achievement.
