Chrissy is also a talented singer. As a member of the High Point Chamber singers, she has been a part of the WSUS Kids Christmas Concert Series for 3 years. On numerous occasions Chrissy has been invited to sing "The Star Spangled Banner" for Sussex County Miners Baseball Games and Frankford Branchville Little League Games. Additionally, Chrissy is a bee keeper! A few years ago she was the Honey Bee Queen at the New Jersey State Fair.

This September Chrissy starts college at the University of New Hampshire to major in Environmental Science or Marine Biology. Congratulations and good luck in all your future endeadvors, Chrissy!

Each month of the school year, TransOptions honors an exceptional student in Sussex County by awarding the "TransOptions Student of the Month Award." The award is given to students recognized for their scholastic achievements or community involvement and is presented live, on-air, during the "Morning Show with Steve Andrews", on WSUS 102.3.

Award recipients receive an gift card and a framed certificate of recognition. Their comments are recorded and replayed on-air throughout the month as a celebration of their achievement.
