Environmental Programs Manager Joseph Caravella was recently named President Elect for the Alliance for New Jersey Environmental Education (ANJEE). He will assume the duties of President of ANJEE July 1, 2013 and be responsible for running the organization and ANJEE's annual Environmental Education Conference. ANJEE was established in 1985 to provide a networking forum for New Jersey's environmental educators. It is an organization of dedicated individuals who devote time, energy, and resources to facilitate the advancement of environmental education in our local, state, and global communities.
Joseph Weiss, Transportation Planner, will be named one of the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) 40 under 40. The new program highlights the top 40 TDM professionals under the age of 40. Joseph will be recognized at ACT's 2012 national conference in Savannah, Georgia, at the end of the month. ACT is an international trade association that supports individual mobility management professionals and organizations in their efforts to reduce traffic congestion, conserve energy and improve air quality. Commonly referred to as transportation demand management (TDM), the industry provides services that are key to combating global warming and oil dependency while maintaining mobility options that can be sustained indefinitely.
