Laura joined TransOptions in January 2013 after working in customer service. As a Project Manager at TransOptions, Laura oversees the Street Smart pedestrian safety campaign that uses high-visibility enforcement, education, and grassroots public awareness to address pedestrian safety issues. The campaign has been launched successfully in Newton, Washington (Warren County) and Morristown. She also manages TransOptions' vanpool program, featuring more than 500 commuters in over 80 vanpools, and is responsible for registering and maintaining those commuters in NJTransit's Vanpool Sponsorship Program. As part of the vanpool program, Laura supports riders by managing the Empty Seat Subsidy Program in the event that a vanpool experiences a sudden and unexpected decrease in ridership and is in need of assistance.
Laura came to TransOptions after graduating from Bloomsburg University in 2012 where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and minored in psychology. Her background also includes experience in research, administrative support, and social media.
