Jackeline Leon, Community Outreach Coordinator

Jackie joined TransOptions in October 2015 after 8 years in the media industry as a journalist and a photographer. Her interest in sustainability blossomed while promoting energy efficiency statewide as a field representative for the New Jersey Clean Energy Program in 2010.

As a Community Outreach Coordinator for TransOptions, Jackie works closely with various stakeholder groups, including seniors, people with disabilities, low income populations and veterans, on projects such as the development of a Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan and the Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety campaign. She is also responsible for crafting content for newsletters and press releases as well as social media management.

Jackie graduated from Lehigh University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and minors in Anthropology and Japanese. Her professional experience includes writing, photography, social media, communications and public relations.
