Chris joined TransOptions in August 2016 with a background in community outreach and sustainability. Chris assists with the Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety campaign, which aims to change driver and pedestrian behavior. He focuses on community outreach, and works closely with businesses, police officers, and community leaders to educate the public on Street Smart, safe walking and driving, and on driver/pedestrian safety laws. As a project specialist, he works with crash data, data collection, online and in-person surveys, and empirical observations and also handles TransOptions' carpool and vanpool programs.
Chris graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability Science, and was responsible for chartering MSU Fencing Club and MSU Bold Challenge on campus.
