In the wake of hurricane Sandy, NJ TRANSIT is making every effort to recover all of its transit services and provide travel alternatives for customers. To assist you if your regular service has not resumed, we are operating emergency shuttle bus/ferry service into Newark, Weehawken and Midtown and Lower Manhattan.
For these emergency service schedules, many of which are free, click here.
There also are many bus routes that provide connections from rail stations and neighboring communities to employment centers throughout the state. Check your options using the links below for information on our website.

Additionally, NJ TRANSIT will provide the most current service information via the My Transit alert system (sign up at www.njtransit.com/mytransit), which delivers travel advisories for your specific trip by email or text message. Service updates are posted on our facebook (njtransit) and twitter (@nj_transit) pages.
