TransOptions and local stakeholders have launched a survey to determine the level of interest in a commuter shuttle service connecting Sparta and surrounding areas with the Dover Train Station. The survey was created to gather feedback from the community as to whether they would support and use such a service.
Residents in the Jefferson, Sparta and Lafayette areas, as well as surrounding towns can voice their opinion by taking a very brief moment to respond to the survey. All respondents will be entered into a raffle for a $100 gas card. The survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Potential_Sparta_Shuttle_Survey
"This has the potential to be a very valuable service," said John F. Ciaffone, president of TransOptions. "A shuttle has the potential to help out all commuters, as it can provide reduced cost and better transit access for the people using it, and reduced congestion for those who choose to remain on the road."
