Sussex County residents who used to ride Route 2 or 5 now have a new bus service available to them.  In order to provide five day a week transportation in the southern and north western portion of the County, Routes 2 and 5 have been replaced with a Dial A Ride Program.

 

Instead of meeting a bus at a stop along a route, the bus will now come to you.  Just give us a call at least by 12 noon the day before your trip, and we will reserve a seat for you.  Dial A Ride service is curb to curb so we will come to your house, pick you up, drive you where you want to go, and take you home. 

 

Dial A Ride is available to the general public, Monday ñ Friday, 8:30 a.m. ñ 3:30 p.m.  The program is open to the residents of Frankford Twp., Branchville, Hampton, Lafayette, Andover Boro, Andover Twp., Byram Twp., Hopatcong and Stanhope (see shaded areas of Route Map).  There is no fare charged for this service, but we do have a suggested donation of $1.00 each way.  Donation envelopes are available from the driver.
