In-Class Environmental Education ProgramTransOptions' Work with Schools and Education

TransOptions works closely with school districts, corporations and community groups throughout northwest New Jersey to heighten awareness of the effect of petroleum-based transportation fuels on our environment, and their relationship to air quality issues. Through a variety of environmental education programs, students of all ages learn about cleaner forms of energy as well as alternative modes of transportation.

TransOptions offers K-12 in-class environmental education programs, Safe Routes To School programs and two highly-regarded hands-on competitions: the Junior Solar Sprints for middle school students and the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Model Car Challenge for high school students.
