New Jersey Smart Workplaces

New Jersey Smart WorkplacesThe prestigious New Jersey Smart Workplaces (NJSW) program, which is free, annually recognizes employers for promoting commute alternatives for their employees. Employers earn the NJSW designation by offering sustainable workplace practices including conducting on-site transportation events, supporting the formation of carpools and vanpools, providing bicycle racks, offering flextime or teleworking and making transit schedules readily available.

NJSW is sponsored by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority and implemented in northwestern New Jersey by Avenues in Motion at no cost to employers. Employers, their employees and the environment all benefit from sustainable transportation practices.

For more information about NJSW, contact Anne Vivino at (973) 267-7600 or send her an email here.
